When art restoration expert Amanda Pierce (Monica Potter) moves into her new apartment she soon finds herself gazing out of the bedroom window and into the home of her gorgeous fashion executive neighbour Jim Winston (Freddie Prinz Jr.). It's clear that she is fast falling in love with the guy, and her supermodel flatmates - Candi, Jade, Roxanna and Holly - start plotting ways to get the pair together. But then Amanda spies Jim (apparently) in the process of murdering someone, and enlists the help of her clueless cohabs to investigate.
