About the author:Jim Rogers, was born in England in 1907 and educated at Sevenoaks School and the Royal School of Mines. It was in France one a bridge-blowing mission, that he was taken prisoner. From 1940 to liberation in 1945 he was a POW in Laufen, Spangenberg and Colditz.
