Collection of eight musicals starring Elvis Presley. In 'G.I. Blues' (1960) guitar-picking soldier Tulsa McLean (Presley) accepts a bet that he can spend the night with a cabaret dancer, hoping to use the proceeds to open a nightclub. In 'King Creole' (1958) Elvis stars as Danny Fisher, a juvenile delinquent who works his way up from bus boy to nightclub singer, only to fall in with a bunch of gangsters and criminals. Danny wants to do things the honest way, but mobster Maxie Fields (Walter Matthau) is determined to get the young fellow playing on his team. In 'Blue Hawaii' (1961) Presley stars as Chad Gates, an ex-soldier who returns home to Hawaii with three things on his mind: fun, music and girls.
