The toast rack was made in Birmingham by William Neale & Son Ltd and dates to 1936. The firm was founded by William Neale in Birmingham in 1862, becoming William Neale & Son in 1890. They produced a very wide range of silverware from trophies to tea services and cigarette boxes to pencils and were highly successful.
