If it has 12 or 9 then the unit will work perfectly. If they are 12 or 9 dip switches and it still doesn't work then kindly reverse the dip switches. Compatible with Genie 9 or 12 Dip Switch Remote Produced from 1982 to 1996 and Overhead Door 12 Dip Switch Remote Produced from 1995 to 1996.
