The SP-303 is capable of CD-quality sampling at a sampling frequency of 44.1 kHz. The SP-303 also uses 3.3V SmartMedia as the storage medium for sampled sound, supporting SmartMedia from 8M bytes to 64M bytes (up to 202 minutes), enabling sampling for extended periods of time. WAV and AIFF files can also be imported via Smart Media.
