This is an antique brass 12 "shot" suppository mold made by Sklar. One opens it by unscrewing the knurled nut; it is double hinged. Item was used as far back as the Civil War era. This one was probably manufactured early 1900’s or earlier. Very good condition with small dings and normal wear marks on outside of mold. Measures approximately 5 x 1 x 1 inches. Stamped with the number “4”.
