Gretsch Renown features all of the usual Gretsch qualities and is perfect for a classic sound, Wonderful with a jazz tuning but equally musical with a more contemporary lower tuning. Great bass drum sound without any muffling. All the Gretsch features include: 7 Ply Maple, 30 degree bearing edges, 302 hoops, silver seal and Gretsch/Remo heads on all batter and resonator sides. Love this kit but have had to switch to a smaller 18" bop kit for current gigs and can't keep both.
