The pen is made from black precious resin inlaid with the Montblanc emblem at the top of the cap and finished in stunning 22K gold plated trim. Around the clip ring it reads Germany, there is no serial number as the pen pre dates the 1990 introduction of serial numbers on Montblanc pens.
