Sony RDR-VX410 VHS tape and DVD Recorder combi player + Remote SPARES REPAIRS

Please read, comes with working remote which is worth £30 alone, the Player turns on, I CANNOT SEEM TO GET A PICTURE ON THE TV, I am not sure if the issue is with the player or the Scart lead I was using, it takes VHS and seems to play, rewind and fast forward but cannot say for sure it displays properly as no picture, the DVD tray doesn't open (it opened once in 20 attempts and still has a disc inside) the unit has scratches to the top as pictured. so selling as spares and repairs only.
