A set of antique burgundy cloth bound hardback Books published by the Silver Library Carlye's Life In London Volumes I and II published in 1897 and written by James Anthony Froude. The books themselves are attractive looking and would look great on an interior design shelf. There is some slight discolouration to the spines of the books and edges of the pages but they are generally in a good condition for age etc. There are pencil notes throughout both books.
