This is a beautiful GEORGIAN ANTIQUE MAHOGANY TEA CADDY. In my estimation it dates from around the mid 18th Century, circa 1760-1780, but please make up your own mind about this. The caddy measures approx 9 inches (230mm) wide, by 5 3/4 inches (145mm) deep, by 5 1/4 inches (135mm) tall and is made from mahogany. The lid opens and closes without issue. Inside, there are three tea compartments. It stands on four bracket feet. It is in good, antique condition, with very light wear in keeping with its great age, but no damage or repairs.
