Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) is a substance extracted from the seeds of the grapefruit (citrus paradisi). It contains bioflavonoids and other beneficial phytochemicals including numerous polyphenolic compounds (quercetin, hesperidin, rutin, apigenin, campherol, limonoids, naringenin*). Each capsule contains Grapefruit Seed Extract standardised to min 5% flavonoids and provides equivalent to 500mg dried herb. The use of standardised extract make us sure each capsule from each batch contains exactly the same amount of active compounds and delivers the same effects. This would be not possible with the use of plain dried herb (not extract) as the amounts of active ingredient can significantly vary between the crops. Suggested dosage is 1 capsule one to two times a day with a meal or a glass of water.
