A Wassily Chair (also known as the Model B3 chair), an icon of modern furniture Bauhaus design by Marcel Breuer in 1925. Breuer was inspired by the bent tubular steel handlebars of his Adler bicycle to create one of the first pieces of furniture made with this material. Initially called the Model B3, it was later named the "Wassily" chair as a tribute to fellow Bauhaus instructor, the painter Wassily Kandinsky. Measures 72cm by 80cm by 70cm. Overall in excellent condition with no cracks or tears to the leather. Chrome is in very good condition. Some age related marks. This is not a Knoll product.
