The drawers have milk glass inset into their bottoms for clean hygiene issues. The drawers do NOT pull right out. They have a stopper so you wouldn't get your tools all over the place. This is a very interesting small bank of 10 drawers which have originally been in a DENTIST practice of the late Victorian - Edwardian period.
