Antique hardwood trinket box with parquetry lid, project for D.I.Y restoration.
The lid of the box has parquetry inlay in a lozenge shape and attractive colour banding in the hardwood veneer. The small lid hinges are crude and would benefit from being replaced and countersunk to achieve a better fit of the lid.
