A very unusual model steam engine layout comprising a Saito T3DR triple cylinder engine with an early Saito boiler, burner, pressure gauge and dynamo attachment. The models are mounted on a diorama-type wooden base with the dynamo connected to a lamp. The model has clearly been assembled quite some time ago and is showing clear signs of needing some cosmetic restoration work (the base is looking tired and the lamp requires re-gluing). With that said, the layout is mechanically good with the boiler, pressure gauge and engine all running on air. The burner is untested. Makes for quite the display piece and runs smoothly. Could be up to 40 years old but difficult to precisely age; makes for a great collector’s piece nonetheless! Please see photos, any questions feel free to ask.
