Delighted to present a stunning collection of 37 hand painted delft tiles featuring a selection of Australian animals and birds. These attractive contemporary tiles follow in a 400 year tradition and have been thoughtfully painted by Welsh ceramicist Carol Francis of Francis Ceramics in a traditional cobalt blue and white colour pallet, and finished in an antique crackle glaze with spider corners. Each tile features a unique and individual design interpreting some of Australia’s more unusual and/or endangered animals and birds including Numbat, Tasmanian Devil, Wombat, Quokka, Cassowary, Great Bilby, Tree Kangaroo, Ibis, Kookaburra, Bee Eaters, Galah, Shark, Kangaroo, Thorny Devil, Echidna, and Platypus. Each delightful tile is new and unused and measures 13x13cm.
