For best results lubricate the tool's threads before use. Insert the pulling pin into the pin hole on the opposite side of the piston, so that it travels through the centre of the gudgeon pin. Turn the main bolt in the tool body so that it moves away from the piston, thereby pulling the gudgeon pin with it.
