Verner's Pattern Compass dated 1917. Marked on reverse with: B-L (Military crows foot stamp Broad Arrow) No 67393 1917 In good working order. Works when the lid is up and catch is released (intentionally keeps it locked when not in use) Marching compass used by British Army officers during World War I.
