A beautiful Mappin and Webb 3 piece tea set. The teapot is about 19.5cm tall, 28cm long and 12cm wide. Not sure what the handle is made of, wood or bakelite? 'Prince's Plate' is a higher quality than normal silver plate, as the Mappin & Webb process used a triple deposit of silver, and has an added coating of protection' Generally in good condition with a few flaws: - split in the teapot knob but still solid. - a couple of blemishes on the teapot and some staining inside. - both the jug and bowl have a bit of green discolouration inside on the bottom.
