Original antique solid brass letter plate combined with door knocker. Dating from the Edwardian era (early 20th century) Made from solid brass with a very high patina - infact it was detatched from a door many years ago and has been languishing in the shed No marks to indicate maker I am afraid I have not cleaned it - It’s still has old paint on it - and a lot,of original patina built up over many years - but it would come up to a high polished shine finish if desired It’s actually quite small in size for a letter box Approximate size: • Width - 21cm • Height: 9cm Perfect for restoring a period front door
