This is a small, souvenir-style djembe drum featuring a sunset and palm tree design with the word "Mallorca" written on the base. The djembe is a rope-tuned, skin-covered goblet drum that originated in West Africa. It is traditionally carved from a single piece of hardwood, such as lenke or mahogany. The drumhead is typically made from goatskin. The name "djembe" is derived from a Bamana phrase meaning "everyone gather together in peace". It is played with bare hands and can produce a wide range of sounds, from deep bass tones to high-pitched slaps. It’s in good condition, with some surface scratches. Please check the photos.
