Spikes spider snow chains. These have got me out of difficulty several times. They do involve fitting a removable disc at the start of a winter season, but after that the chains can be fitted in about two minutes. Note the size carefully L 192-203 adjustable and 17mm wheel bolts. Check the manufacturer site for sizing. You can buy spares and fittings for 19mm wheel bolts. I have three sets to sell.
