The A Touch of FrostSeries 7,8 And 9 DVD box set contains three discs and features all episodes from the seventh, eighth and ninth series of this award-winning cops and crime drama. David Jason stars in the lead role of Detective Inspector Jack Frost, and is joined by Bruce Alexander, who plays the incredibly officious Superintendent Norman Mullett. The show is set in Denton and also stars Blake Ritson (as DC Robert Presley, aka Frost's sidekick), and John Lyons (DS Toolan, another colleague). Each episode contains at least two plots related to violence and/or murder but there is not a lot of graphic violence; Frost's pursuit of the ladies is another fairly regular sub-plot in the show.
