Rare 19th Century Longcase Grandfather Clock. Restoration Project.

This Clock was hand built by William Fowler It does need attention as clock is not working. I think the spring has been over wound ! It’s wonderful to look inside the clock workings and see the intricate work and how simple it looks and how the cogs move. I remember as a child the amazing tick toc in made and the chime. The weights are really heavy. The case has such an unusual design almost cogsworth!
