The kettle has been used. The lid is weak but can be opened and closed. The kettle has been tested and can be seen working in the photos we have taken of the item. WATER GAUGE & INDICATOR LIGHT: Use the small kettle’s transparent fill window to avoid overflows and half-full brews, whilst the red indicator light clearly displays once your water is boiled and good to go.
