Early Hindu white marble Temple figure of Lakshmi probably 17-18th c , this is one of the best and oldest of the marble figures we have had . Beautiful detail and workmanship the base has large amounts of mortar from being mounted to an altar . Beautiful water erosion around the foot areas .Sculpture like this come from decommissioned temples or shrines . Size 13.5" by 7.5" from an old CA estate 1970s.
