This is a unique wooden Kokeshi whimsical, sauna/spa scene with a man & woman with cloths/towels on their heads. The man & woman are movable nodder doll heads that can only be seen from the neck up. There is a thatched mat inside the ‘sauna’. I am questioning if the ‘sauna’ is a segment of bamboo. ? It is signed on the back with Japanese characters. The piece is in good condition.
