Framed vintage reproduction of a 1575 Christopher Saxton map of Suffolk, England. The original maps were created in the 16th century as part of the first full atlas of England and Wales. This print was framed in 1964 (framer’s label still on back) and measures about 14” x 20” including the frame. The map shows the towns, rivers, and coastline of Suffolk with old-style lettering, sea monsters, and decorative crests typical of the period. Frame is in good condition for its age with some light wear. Nice piece of vintage wall art for anyone who likes antique maps or English history.
