A set of four large silver plated Georgian style Candlesticks, each 10 1/8 inches tall, bases 5 1/8 inches wide, all marked ELKINGTON PLATE under bases, all stamped 18106, two with date letters T for 1930, one with a U for 1931 and the other with a R for 1928. The silver plate is in good condition, can see no wear on the bodies, no dents or repairs, typical Elkington quality, the only faults are the sconces which have a worn ring inside, when I acquired them they had a later lamp fitting on the sconces, this has made a worn ring around the opening. They have solid bases and very substantial, over 800 grams each. They could do with a further polish if you prefer them in a bright new look, I haven't polished under the bases.
