For sale is a fancy antique 18th C to early 19th C wooden handmade tea caddy with decorative brass escutcheon and key. Nice grain pattern and the natural glow of the wood is highly eye pleasing. The box contains the three original interior lids with handle. Both hinges and the lock mechanism are present. There is a key that fits firmly into the lock, but the lock will not turn. Four wood feet are present. It measures about 8" x 5" X 6" Age appropriate surface scratches and imperfections are to be expected. Please check all photos taken from all sides for detailed condition.
