VINTAGE SPOTTER TELESCOPE marked ORION SPOTTER made by W OTTWAY & CO LTD EALING, LONDON No 50846. 21 inches (540mm) long extended, 11 3/4 inches (300mm) long closed. Nickle, with leather covered body tube, & stout leather end caps. 1 1/4 inch (30mm) diameter object lens & focuses easily to give a good clear, well magnified image (the correct way up). Tubes & sunshade slide freely. The zoom is calibrated 15.20.25. and fine focusing is achieved by turning the knurled ring. Good condition with no damage or repairs. A realy good, solid, quality feel about it. It would be fine to use, make a great display piece, and be a good addition to any collection.
