A stunning set of three graduated antique French copper pans ( poachers/escargot), originally purchased from an antique shop in the 1990s and used as a decorative wall display since. Sizes 7”, 8”, and 11” diameters. (approximately 18cm,20cm,28cm) The largest pan features a rare and clear straight line institutional stamp SIPS rt 1903. This identifies it as part of the Service Interhospitalier de Paris et de Seine, dating it precisely to 1903. These pans have a beautiful deep natural patina from decades of display. The 11” pan has a small split on the top rim, which is common for copper of this age and does not affect its use as a display piece. Please see pictures for more details.
