The film follows three friends as they head to the remote Australian coastline to begin filming an audition tape for a reality TV show. Looking to record their encounters with great white sharks while cage diving in the open ocean, the group soon find themselves in trouble when a huge wave destroys their boat, leaving them helplessly floating in the sea.
