This is an Adjustable Zipper foot. Works great on Straight stitch models, as you can change the position of the zipper foot (left or right) by adjusting the screw on the back of the zipper foot. This foot can also be used to make and apply piping or welting that is to large to fit in the groove in the piping / welting foot.
