This is a c1936 vintage unique “Take to pieces” model of R.M.S.”QUEEN MARY”.It is manufactured by the Chad Valley Co Ltd from original designs by G.H.Davis.It consists of 12 different removable decks revealing every item of the ship’s wonderful interior.It is in an excellent condition It is nice in still retaining its original cardboard presentation box which measures 32.3cm long x 5.7cm wide x 6.4cm deep.It is particularly rare to find its paper instructions and its separate paper envelope containing the two metal pins that act as the masts.The actual ships measurements are 29.5cm long x 3.5cm wide x 4.9cm tall.
