This is for a wonderful antique Kendall & Whitney wooden egg crate box. It has impressed stenciling on two end walls that read "15 DOZEN K & W EGG CASE MANUFACTURED BY KENDALL & WHITNEY PORTLAND, ME." Wooden lid has squeeze clasp. It measures approximately 15 inches length by 13 1/2 inches height by 12 3/4 inches wide. In nice condition for its age. Has expected scattered wear, staining, dings, bumps & use marks. Backside at upper edge near hinge has wood chip with absence of wood. Inside hinges have a bit of surface rusting. Squeezing locking clasp on front works as it should. A wonderful country primitive piece perfect size for farmhouse decor, general store & or farmhouse kitchen!! Please see all pictures for more details.
