In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95, designed by Sergio Lozano, this special edition pair is based on some of Lozano’s sketches from 1994 but were never produced, until now. This version features the suede’s gradient colors on the sides of the shoe flipped from the original. The design of the Air Max 95 is inspired by the human body—spine, ribs, muscle fibers—while the gradient suede accents are inspired by nature. Technical innovations include progression of Nike Air through the employment of a dual-pressure unit in the heel and, an innovation introduced in 1995, a visible Air unit at the forefoot.
