This is a small melting pot probably used for lead to make sinkers this pot. To be homemade it is very irregular and looks like it was welded together for personal use it measures about 4 and 3/4 inch across the bottom but some spots it measures 5 in with the bail it stands about 5 in tall and is about 4 and 1/2 in across the top please see photos for details this is a very heavy item for its size...2B
