This early 20th century, with moulded figure of a winged lady and with inscription 'temps est cher' (time is expensive), signed indistinctly, possibly C. Hobolk, the clock with Arabic numerals, is a superb example of Art Nouveau design and no doubt of French origin.. In remarkable condition for its age with very little evidence of ware and no damage it has been converted to quartz movement but this is not visible and so gives the impression of being original mechanical movement but with the relative ease of battery power.. Wonderful item! 26cm wide 15cm deep 59cm high
