This VELUX EDL 304 1000 Single Slate framing plate is a replacement framing plate for VELUX GGL 304 windows. It is designed for standard installation of skylights in slate and flat roof materials up to 8mm thick with roof pitches between 15° and 90°. Available in painted gray aluminum and easy to install, this single lightning arrester features corrosion resistant material and a neat appearance. VELUX flashings provide a durable, watertight and weatherproof seal between the roof and the skylight. At standard mounting heights, the red line indicates where brackets should be placed at the top and bottom of the frame. This surround also features an under felt collar (BFX) that ensures a perfect fit and watertight seal between the skylight, roof batten and roof under felt. Installation is easy.
