A pair of Linton plates featuring a reproduction of the painting "The Red Boy" by Thomas Lawrence and "The Blue Boy", a famous painting by Thomas Gainsborough. These plates were popular as decorative items and collectibles, showcasing famous artworks in a domestic setting. These plates, made by the Linton Metalware Co. from 1924 to 1960.
