A lovely little pin tray, probably Japanese as the Chrysanthemum is a little more ornate than the Chinese ones ? There is a very tiny pin prick in the enamel, upper right of the flower ( see photos ).It is enamelled on a silver coloured body, not sure of the composition of the metal –but it does not appear to be silver , and the cloisonne wires are also silvered rather than copper. It is approx. 3” diameter and 1/2 “ high. The weight is approx 62g. The underside is solid blue coloured enamel.
