The original Series Soundtrack of the Japanese band "The Seatbetts", under the direction of the instrumentalist Yoko Kanno, is just as exciting as the plot. In addition to jazz, rock, electronics, radio, blues, heavy metal, country and J-pop, the repertoire of Seatbelts and can be seen as a colorful, avant-garde, indeed almost futuristic fusion of the genres. Most of the songs of the soundtrack are jazzy big band music with country music elements, the B-side includes pieces influenced by African music. Our founding year 1998 - long after vinyl declared dead and long before vinyl was celebrated as a cool thing again - proves that we are real Vinylnerds.
