This is a small-ish glass fronted display case, age unknown but possibly 1950s-60s. Despite its age, its black colouration and modern design means it is not out of place in a modern house. The red inside is paper, which probably can be removed if so desired. The door is opened and closed by means of a small latch at the top. There are some imperfections in the paint, however you can probably get away without repainting it if it is in a shady or not prominent location. Sizes are in the photos.
