Note: When using the IRIS 50, hold between the two fore fingers and the thumb, and bring it level to your eye aligning along the nose. The IRIS 50 can be read with or without glasses. For use after sunset, just hold under a bright light or flashlight for just a few minutes and the compass dial will remain luminous for taking bearings without using a light on deck.
