Solar-powered motion sensor security light has 56 LEDs and gives a 600-lumen illumination. The light will detect motion most effectively up to a distance of 3m away at a 120 degree angle and will illuminate for 25 seconds. The split design means that the solar panel is generally larger than other designs allowing it to store more power during the daytime and give off a brighter light for a longer period at night time. The split design and 4.7 meter long cable means that the solar panel can be placed in full sun, on a roof for example, whilst the light can be placed under a roof, on a wall or in partial shade, this is an advantage over integrated units.
