Beautiful large Verbena pattern ironstone platter by W. Adams & Co, Staffordshire, England, dating from around 1890 – 1910. Features a delicate blue floral transfer border on creamy white ironstone with a gently scalloped edge. A fine example of Victorian/Edwardian English pottery, ideal for display or functional use as a serving dish. Condition: Good antique condition with light age-related crazing and glaze wear typical of period ironstone. No major cracks or chips noted other than a small chip on the back near the maker’s mark shown in photograph.
