Antique 1854 1 Penny Copper Coin, Young Victoria, REG:, PT, DEF_:, with W.W.

This example is the variation with a plain trident that was produced between 1853 and 1857. The legend reads BRITANNIAR: REG FID: DEF. There are also variations in how the legend is presented this coin has two variations with a colon after REG (REG:) and a colon far from DEF (DEF_:); the unabridged translation would be, ‘Queen of the Britains Defender of the Faith’.
